Numbers govern the rythm of our lives. 2000 is the figure that seems to carry its own mystery, to symbolize our hopes and fears. Isabelle Rozenbaum has captured it and brought it into the light, opening doors to the future. Her urban exploration has given her the chance to catch many more. By experimenting with these, with their shapes and their textures, she shows us how arithmetic can enter the realm of poetry. In this world, numbers are dynamic and their movement, curves, volumes and outlines speak of other graphic movements. In their presence, imagery moves into art form.
