They get around town in the same way they get through their teenage years, either dragging their feet or at high speed. The boys slide down banister rails, dodge fares in the subway and enjoy admiring scooters. Meanwhile, the girls look round the shops, touching, testing and advising one another. Patrick Sheándell respects their desires and their instincts. He picks up on a laugh, a concern, shyness, pursed lips. Always esthetic, never superficial, his photography is deliciously lively.
