Téo Lannié guides us through the world of decision-makers. Through simple black and white images, a panoramic format and a graphic style, he shows us men and women hard at work. His rather unconventional scenes take place in a train, in a hotel, on the platform and even the washroom of a railway station, or in the middle of a desert, with a portable computer and mobile phone as the stars. With so many responsibilities, it is impossible to switch off! His sober, almost austere, pictures portray a world where there is no room for either recreation or rest. All that counts are results, achievements and new contracts. Téo Lannié is so close to his subjects that he is able to capture their intense expressions, their moments of doubt, and their joy when they succeed, so that in the end he gives these veritable workhorses a human face.
