The human chain. A series of faces succeed each others like different stages of life following one upon the other, with very few digressions to temporarily stop the flow of life. Patrick Sheándell seems to offer his models a few pauses, the time to pose. His portraits of men and women, who are young or not so young, as well as of families, are a warm tribute. In the last months of his life as a photographer, he lingered over each of them, and they all answered his appeal. If their faces and expressions are challenging, it is because they were captured in a natural attitude. The ties Patrick has forged with them are visible between each other. Together, they unite.
