When does a fruit or vegetable transform itself from image object into an image concept? Does a spear of asparagus or a sun-ripened tomato tell a story outside of its physical presence? In her still life studies of fruits and vegetables, photographer Isabelle Rozenbaum explores these and other questions of objective based art. In her images one is confronted with a myriad of ideas and representations contained inside and outside of her subjects.
