Born in Switzerland, Jean Blaise-Hall studied photography at Vevey before leaving for America. He became initiated in culinary photography in San-Francisco. During a three-year period, he perfected his technique and then came to Paris where he set up shop. Since then he has been working from his studio in Belleville, carrying out commissions for the press, advertising and publishing. His culinary photographs are truly envigorating, expressing the joy of a meal carefully prepared by a loved one.
