John Dowland started his love affair with fine arts at the age of ten. This passion captivated him throughout his adolescence. It was therefore entirely natural that this talented young Englishman should choose to continue his studies at a London art school. Then one day he exchanged his paintbrush for a camera. In 1980, he settled in Paris, working as a fashion photographer. Advertising and magazine publishing houses have since been benefiting from the fresh emotional style of his photographs portraying contempory lifestyles. |
