Matthieu Spohn is a young swiss photographer who apprenticed at the Vevey school, a studio specialising in the photography of swiss watches and micro-electronics. This excellent training equiped him with the skills which have allowed him to scale the heights of creativity. In 1997 he embarked upon his first series of nudes and improved his techniques of image-transfer, soaking the print and scratching the negative, achieving effects that are ever more startling...He is fascinated by the body?s curves and the play of skin texture in very subdued settings. |
