Michel Bussy turned his hand to character portraits in 1970 in collaboration with Claude Rodriguez and perfected his technique with François Dubat and Antoine Brance. Working independantly since 1978, he specialises in portraits of characters in situ., exploring the themes of children and feminine beauty. In 1987 he rediscovered an interest in natural indoor lighting, working with Specific studio. He has exhibited in several parisian galleries.
