In her profession Mieke works as a graphical designer.
She has a passion for photography and completed a
course, sometime ago, at St-Lucas Gent - Belgium on "Publicity
and Photography". This passion for photography continues
unabated. She has a distinct, yet familar style.
You can say her pictures are fresh and cheerful,
colourful and timeless. The photograph's
freshness comes
from the use of non-professional models - mostly children -
and the strong emotions of natural daylight. Her pictures
bring a smile to your face, making you feel, at
the very least, good inside. The composition of her
pictures broadcasts her graphical design background,
taking her time to choose the right style and imagery.
