Philippe Ughetto discovered photography as the assistant of Helmut Newton, whose style was a revelation for this young apprentice. For twenty years, he photographed beauty and the beautiful for advertising. His personal works favoured still life, leading him into a collaboration with the printed press (Liberation and Télérama). Philippe Ughetto orientated the camera lens towards pears, vegetables, flowers, fish, staging pictures stolen from the real world. His images are bathed in a light that sculptures life into the objects. |
