An image search can be performed by using keywords, reference numbers, CD titles or specific themes.

A keyword search is done in English. We suggest that you use words that are most current and also use the verb infinitive without using articles or preposition.

For more precise searches, you can use two or more words simply by leaving a space in between each word when performing a keyword search. For example, you can type ? business people ? if you are looking for an image that contains more than one person in a business setting. This advanced search will give you a better result than if you were to use just business ? or people ? in a single keyword image search.

For more general searches, there is an option to search by theme. Instead of starting a search with keywords like ?elderly person,? for example, we recommend using the theme Seniors ? to give you an overview of what we have available in our collection.
